Day 5: Pharmacy App Steps on Paper

At a pharmacy in Puebla, Aurelia (A), an older customer, asks Adrián (B), the young pharmacist, to put the chain's app for prescription discounts on her phone.

How to study this lesson 3 steps
  1. Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
  2. Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a Spanish word to see what it means.
  3. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Spanish, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

    Young man, would you install the pharmacy's app for me? I want to make the most of the discounts.

    Claro, señora. Lo bueno es que solo pide su correo y una contraseña.

    Of course, ma'am. The good thing is it only asks for your email and a password.

    Ay, le apuesto a que se me olvida la contraseña. Mis nietos nunca tienen tiempo.

    Oh, I bet I'll forget the password. My grandchildren never have time.

    Ya quedó. Cuando traiga su receta, me enseña este código.

    All done. When you bring in your prescription, show me this code.

    Entonces quiero que me anote los pasos en un papelito, joven.

    Then I want you to jot the steps down for me on a piece of paper, young man.
