Day 148: Oxen in Flowers at San Isidro
In their apartment in Mexico City, Minerva (A), who grew up in Metepec, near Toluca, invites her roommate Olivia (B) to the Paseo de San Isidro, the town's parade for the patron saint of farmers.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.

Ese mero. Los campesinos adornan sus yuntas con flores y semillas para pedir buena cosecha.
That's the one. The farmers decorate their teams of oxen with flowers and seeds to ask for a good harvest.

My grandma lives on the street the parade goes down. If it gets too packed, we'll watch it from her window.
